On Thursday, 11th of May 2017, in the City Hall Centar in Skopje First national forum on water sector reorganization will be held. The Local Reform Project is preparing a long-term strategy for the improvement of the overall organisation of the water and sanitation sector. This includes an assessment of how sector fragmentation could be addressed, how water and wastewater services can be separated from other municipal services, and how service delivery could be regionalized and commercialized.

The National Forum provides an opportunity for all stakeholders and experts in the water sector to start the dialogue reflect on international practices and discuss options.

The Forum is organised by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning and the EU funded project “Reform in the system for water supply, collection and treatment at local level” implemented by Eptisa and the consortium partners. The moderator of the Forum will be Ms. Jadranka Ivanova, Head of EU Department, SPO/IPA Coordinator, Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.
